Wonderful! I’m 2 for 2 now, having just responded with an after poem. I’m loving these!

You know what's funny.. I honestly think I'm the only one in the whole world who isn't raving over Frank: Sonnets. I couldn't finish it. I couldn't make myself feel what the poems seemed to be trying to make me feel. And I love almost everything I've read from Diane Seuss. She does some amazing things with form. Chalk it up to 'subjectiveness at its best' perhaps?

Thank you for this honest reflection, T R. Poetry is such a subjective art form, and not everyone will connect with the work, and that's perfectly okay to not love every piece/book by a poet. I think music albums can be like this as well.

Love Diane Seuss and "poetry, the only father"! I lost my dad around 7 years old, same as Seuss, so this time of year is hard. Thank you!

Oh my. This weaves in and out of poetry/body/memory/metaphor/iambs. She's so good.
