You know what's funny.. I honestly think I'm the only one in the whole world who isn't raving over Frank: Sonnets. I couldn't finish it. I couldn't make myself feel what the poems seemed to be trying to make me feel. And I love almost everything I've read from Diane Seuss. She does some amazing things with form. Chalk it up to 'subjectiveness at its best' perhaps?
Thank you for this honest reflection, T R. Poetry is such a subjective art form, and not everyone will connect with the work, and that's perfectly okay to not love every piece/book by a poet. I think music albums can be like this as well.
Diane Seuss is a genius and this poetry collection is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Wonderful! I’m 2 for 2 now, having just responded with an after poem. I’m loving these!

Love Diane Seuss and "poetry, the only father"! I lost my dad around 7 years old, same as Seuss, so this time of year is hard. Thank you!
Sending you love around these difficult feelings, Erica. Those anniversaries are so hard. Thank you for sitting with this piece with us.
Thank you, Svetlana!
Oh my. This weaves in and out of poetry/body/memory/metaphor/iambs. She's so good.
It feels so effortless on the page, doesn't it?
love Diane Seuss!!!! 🌞💛
We're big fans ourselves!! The whole book is brilliant.
